What is The Volunteer Road Map™?
The Volunteer Road Map™ is a four-step training system that helps churches grow gospel-centered, effective volunteers through sustainable, hands-on learning. Instead of overwhelming teams with random advanced topics, volunteers (and their ministry leaders) progress together through four Skillsets over four months or quarters—each designed to build confidence, competence, and culture. Volunteers read, watch, and apply one focused skillset at a time, reinforcing what they learn through Sunday service experience and monthly leader check-ins that deepen both theology and relationship. Each phase builds on the last, equipping both leaders and volunteers to thrive long-term and shape a gospel-centered team culture that lasts.
